CASE STUDY

VFYArchitect
Branding and Website

Client Challenge
Victor Fuentes had spent over two decades as an architect designing flagship and boutique retail spaces for globally recognized luxury fashion and jewelry brands. When he left the firms he'd worked for to launch his own studio, he had nothing but his initials — no logo, no website, no visual identity to match the level of the clients he'd be pursuing. The brand needed to project the same precision, confidence, and seniority he brings to a Van Cleef & Arpels boutique or a Loewe flagship, without a hint of unnecessary decoration.

My Solution
I built a brand and website that let Victor's experience and his work do the talking:

Logo and typography – A clean wordmark built around VFYArchitect's name, with the initials "VFY" set apart in a bold, outlined orange to anchor the mark, while "Architect" stays understated in black for balance. The industrial, square-edged typeface gives the whole thing a structured, drafting-table precision — confident and grounded without ever feeling showy.

Website design – A modern, sleek site built to showcase Victor's portfolio of luxury retail projects without distraction. Generous white space, restrained typography, and a straightforward structure keep the focus on the architecture itself, letting striking project photography from brands like Van Cleef & Arpels, Loewe, and Shreve & Co. carry the story.

The result is a brand that reads as established and senior-level from the first impression — fitting for an architect stepping out on his own after years of high-profile work, without ever feeling like he's starting from scratch.

The Outcome
VFYArchitect's brand and website just launched, giving Victor a polished, professional presence that matches the caliber of the clients he's built his career serving. He's thrilled with the result — a brand that finally reflects the expertise he's spent 20+ years building.
